This old school show style t-bucket really caught my eye at the rod show.
I took heaps of snaps of it (more to come...probably..) and the attention to details was amazing. everything was chromed, way, way more than i would normally like, but i think it really works on this little Rod. (the linked image is bigger than normal so you can see some of the details)

Is it just me or do you wish the owner wasn't looking like a leisure suited Brian Wilson?
Even a bogan black Jersey would be better....it seems to me that rodding in New Zealand is missing its culture...maybe its just our own version of Custom Culture.

In conclusion I would like to say: Stink sweatshirt/rugby Jersey but thanks for building such a sweet ass Rod.

Me and my bro-inlaw went to go to the Hot Rod show last weekend...in typical fashion we got there just as they booted out the last punters!
We were driving of for a kebab when I spotted a mean looking Rod out the back of the event center so I did a quick u'e and parked up to get some pix....
it turns out that all of the Rods had just started to pack out!
Not only did we not have to pay to see the cars we also got to see, smell and hear them all..and watch them actually drive.
I took heaps of snaps but this is my favorite car of the day...and i dont even like t-birds!

This car is just perfect and proves that the best cars are not always the mega$ beasts....the right stance, paint and attention to detail can create something as good as this!

Hmmmm....I wonder how much u can pick up a t-bird for in the states?

I was out looking at cars with my Sister and Bro inlaw today and we ended up in Pram.
While my Sister was in a house trying to get a very silly girl to sell her bmw (thats a long story), this awesome Impala cruised down the street.
I grabbed my phone and walked over and asked if I could take some snaps.
This is the best of a bad few snaps...i wish i asked him to move totally into or out of the sun as this snap really doesnt do the car justice.
up close the paint had a nice fine metalic red fleck in the clear coat which matches the awesome new red interior.
i normaly dont dig big wheels on classic cars but these wheels work really well i think.

I have decided to get some Isnapped stickers made.
If I snap a car (or horse or whatever) I will put a Isnapped sticker on it.
It will let you and the wrw (whole real world) know that you have been snapped and are on my blog...
They are gonna be silver and I hope it will become like a trophy/award to have your car/whatever Isnapped stickered!
oh and dont worry...ill only put them on glass or something and they are only paper stickers so they wont be destructive at all..

I was thinking about making them big and green or pink....lol

half way into editing this latest lot of snaps my mate turned up and wanted to go get some food. so we head to Jville for some rednecked fried chicken. Just as we hit the lights we see heaps of muscle cars, rods and customs rolling into the supermarkets car park.

I force my mate, who is not into cars at all, to pull in so I can have a look.
I chatted to the guy in the t-bucket on the left for abot 20 minutes before my mate got too impaitent and we had to hit up the kfc.

apparently there is a cruise from o-parade every last friday..check it out next time...I will be..

I pulled into the local garage last night for some fuel and I spotted these two mean scoots.
Ive never rocked up to bike guys before but they looked cool so I went up for a chat.

I dont have alot to say about these bikes as im so taken back with how awesome the both were...the sportster has a Denver springer on it...very very nice forks.
The little triumph chop is a survivor and you would not believe me if I told you how much of a bargin it was....

I have to say that I felt like a bit of a groupie poreing over these bikes...but the guys were both very cool and didnt even mind when I asked if I could have a sit on them...lol.

I wish I could remember the name of the club these guys are in...id put my hand up for first dibs on the triumph if it ever comes up for sale.

Willie from Wanganui's sweet 58 chev truck and matching camper

I love the colour combo of white (or cream/off white) and teal...it's the ultimate OG bogan car colour choice to me.
I spotted this perfectly painted truck and camper combo, while I was out for a drive in the awesome hot saturday afternoon sun, and knew that I had to get a snap of it.
The trouble was that he was a few cars ahead of me....so I just followed for a few miles (it seems wrong to use kays around this awesome chev somehow) and then as he pulled into the Hutt motor camp I decided I would just have to pull the driver over and ask to take some snaps.
It turns out that the owner, Willie from Wanganui, was down for the weekend for the Americana car show at trentham on Sunday.
Willie was cool and even offered to park up on the grass so that the snaps would be better.

And no its not for sale!

I was just out for a drive today and saw some really cool cars.
By the time I decided to start a blog of cool car pix this was the only one I had a chance to snap.
I dont know much about it other than it is super clean and straight and the number plate says its running a V8.
